To ensure effective management of timetable data when students are promoted to the next year group, it is crucial to update the academic year start date on DPR. By default, DPR will commence syncing data into the next academic year starting from August 14th. Failing to update this value may result in data from the upcoming academic year overwriting the existing one. If you are unsure about the precise activation date of your new timetable, we suggest temporarily disabling MIS Sync. Once you have verified the accuracy of the timetable data through MIS Explorer, you can safely re-enable mis sync, ensuring that the start date value on DPR is correct as well.
By default, DPR automatically starts syncing into the next academic year on the 14th of August.
As an example, if the current date is the 5th of June 2021, DPR will sync subject/class data into the 2020/21 academic year. If the current date is the 15th of August 2021, DPR will sync subjects/class data into the 2021/22 academic year.
- Log into Mission Control and click the Settings page
- Select a value for the academic year start date option
