Key aim:
KO View is a simple engaging way to update student judgements during a lesson, encouraging a genuine learning dialogue and allowing students' an opportunity to recall and reflect on what they have just covered.
Accessing KO View
- Navigate to the Teacher dashboard then select the class you would like to view
- Click the KO View card
Understanding KO View
- KO View allows you to view data for a single key objective at a time across all pathways (e.g. ko 1 for Pathway A, B and C), allowing you to focus on a particular key objective during the lesson
- Use the key objective navigator to view data for different ko's or click a particular ko number to jump to the key objective
- The "Judgement Key Saber" provides a visual indication of the breakdown of judgements for a particular key objective
- e.g. in the example above, a large percentage class of the class is currently "developing" (92%) as indicated by the mostly orange coloured bar
- Customise your ko view grid:
- View data for different collections and subjects
- Show or hide judgement keys to (this is useful when you'd like to save space on your screen)
- Show or hide pathways
- Show or hide student photos (hiding photos will show a students' initials instead)
- To update a students' judgement, hold and drag a student from the relevant judgement key column to the new judgement key column. Once a student is dropped on a new judgement key column, DPR will automatically save the judgment change without prompting for confirmation
- Key objectives can be enlarged by clicking the enlarge icon on the relevant key objective
- An enlarged key objective will show at the top of the page and can be closed by clicking the close icon
- You can also darken the rest of the screen simply by hovering over the enlarged key objective
- Click the copy button to copy a key objective
